Who we are
ClariLayer is operated by Rev Vision, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). We provide an individual-analyst context layer (MCP-delivered) — a personal, self-deployed context layer for your AI coding agent — helping you save, recall, and reconcile the context behind your data.
What we collect
We collect the minimum information necessary to operate our service:
- Contact and sales requests: Your email address when you contact us about ClariLayer for teams or get in touch through our site. We use this solely to contact you about ClariLayer availability and product updates.
- Voluntary diagnostic emails: If you request a Metric Definition Health Review by email, you may choose to share a metric name, a non-confidential summary of the current definition, high-level source categories, and where teams disagree. Do not send secrets, credentials, customer identifiers, private SQL, confidential metric logic, sensitive source-system details, or other sensitive data unless we have agreed on a direct review relationship and handling process.
- Usage analytics: We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate site performance and PostHog for product analytics inside ClariLayer. PostHog may use cookies or similar browser storage to understand page views, navigation, feature usage, and signed-in product activity so we can improve the service.
- Account data: If you become a ClariLayer user, we collect the information you provide during registration (name, email, organization) and the metric definitions and other context data you create within the platform.
What we do not collect
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
- We do not share your email address with marketing partners.
- We do not access your warehouse data directly and never hold your warehouse credentials. Reconciliation runs in your environment through your own AI agent, which reports result metadata and any optional preview rows it chooses to include.
- We do not collect diagnostic metric-review content through the waitlist form, public docs search, URL query strings, or a backend submission flow for the SaaS Metrics Definition Library.
Sub-processors
We rely on a small set of trusted third-party service providers (sub-processors) to operate ClariLayer. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service, under its own terms and security commitments:
- Supabase: authentication, database, and file storage for your account and the context data you create.
- Vercel: application hosting and aggregate site performance analytics.
- Sentry: error and performance monitoring to detect and diagnose issues.
- Stripe: billing and payment processing for paid plans and credits.
- Google: OAuth sign-in when you choose to authenticate with a Google account.
- PostHog: product analytics for page views, navigation, feature usage, and signed-in product activity.
- LLM provider:our large language model provider, accessed through the Vercel AI Gateway (which may route to providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google), powers ClariLayer's AI features. We do not send your warehouse data to it.
How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the ClariLayer service.
- To communicate with you about your account or our service.
- To send product updates if you opted into the waitlist.
- To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve performance.
Data retention
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Voluntary diagnostic email content is retained only as long as needed to respond to your request or maintain the relationship you asked us to support, and you can request deletion at privacy@clarilayer.com. Account and context data (saved definitions, schema notes, reusable queries, and reconcile evidence) are retained for the duration of your active subscription and deleted within 90 days of account closure, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you also have the right to data portability and to restrict or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to team members who need it to operate the service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the effective date above.
